🎆 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸
Today, we're celebrating in style — lighting up the Brandenburg Gate in honor of 250 years of American independence.
The Eiffel Tower lit up in the colors of the United States, reflecting France’s heartfelt tribute to America’s 250th anniversary. 🇫🇷🇺🇸
A powerful reminder that the friendship between our two nations dates back to the 18th century.

happy 250th. I am forever in awe of the genius, virtue and luck it took to build something that endured this long and grew this much. I suspect we'll need just as much strength for our own time.
For the first time yesterday, I experienced the new @alamodrafthouse QR code ordering system and I can tell you it’s truly awful. Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. No, your cute reference to that irony in your How To Alamo video doesn’t negate how ridiculous this is. Please don’t cut corners with your staff and revert back to physical menus and order cards.
Tina Peters is guilty as sin and a disgrace to Colorado.
She tried to undermine Colorado’s free and fair election system. When she was caught red-handed, she was prosecuted by a Republican district attorney and rightfully convicted by a jury of her peers.
Reducing her sentence sends the wrong message to those seeking to undermine trust in our elections and it will do nothing to deter Donald Trump’s illegal attacks on Colorado. I strongly disagree with this decision.
This project broke down because no one could decide if they were human-sized mice living in a human-sized abbey, mice-sized mice living an human-sized abbey, or mice-sized mice living in a mice-sized abbey
A million homes in four years. How the heck are we going to do that?
I held a town hall with YIMBY advocates in Los Angeles to talk about it.
Here's my plan:
We're going to treat a 21st century housing crisis with 21st century solutions.
That means union factories building homes like we build cars, a state buyers club to buy materials in bulk, and streamlined permitting. Why approve the same modular design twice?
We also need to close the corporate property tax loophole. Corporations pay less than their share, while families pick up the tab.
We're going make California a more affordable place to live again.
