@ryan_oakNshield @sandyrlemay @CNN Having a mental illness does not automatically ban someone from gun purchase. In TN you have to report feeling suicidal which this person did not (and so far i havent seen anything that suggested they lied about this). Therefore, legal purchases.

@sandyrlemay @CNN Actually no. All the guns were legally purchased and there was no statute currently in play that would have prohibited this person buying or possessing them. They were hiding them from family they lived with.
