They replied,

“How could we refuse to fight in the cause of Allah, while we were driven out of our homes and ˹separated from˺ our children?”

قَالُواْ وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نُقَـٰتِلَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ أُخۡرِجۡنَا مِن دِيَـٰرِنَا وَأَبۡنَآٮِٕنَا‌ۖ
