When I have my own classroom in the future, I want to make sure that all my students get equal opportunities. If I don't give all my students the same chances, I will be automatically setting them up to fail.
@CassandraSteff8 I totally agree. I think all students deserve to have the same chances and oppurutunities. If you don't, you are already setting the student up to fail.

3. It can be very common for students to feel unwelcome in their own classrooms because the color of their skin. These students are already labeled by these stereotypes, that they feel like they are stuck in it.
@ms_woodman Hi Cassidy! I know exactly what you are talking about. Growing up, I always had the 3 finger rule, which I thought was never fair. As much as it sucks, this world will forever have stereotypes towards females. No matter how hard we try to change that, they won't ever go away.

I am a white, jewish girl from the Suburbs. A common stereotype type that is thought of when associating someone with these traits is spoiled, rich and rude. Even though I am put in those categories, I don't think I have any of those traits.
