Hey, @getnicced I just finished reading Fast Pitch and really enjoyed it. I was wondering if you are going to write a sequel? I would definitely read it and look forward to reading your other books. I am planning on reading Clean Getaway. By the way I know Robyn Seglem #TCH238
@ramullen7 Some behaviors that I saw when students were engaged was a lot of participation. A behavior I saw when students were not engaged much was silence and less participation.
A6: After making our observation plans, I am able to look at the class either as a whole or individual students to see how they react. From seeing their reactions I know if something was a highlight or if something needs to be changed. #TCH296
A8: I have learned that not everything is going to go perfectly. The way we thought lessons were going to go they turn out not going the way as planned, but it is how we adjust that makes the experienced learned. #TCH296
A7: I plan to use observation outside of lesson study by observing other people while I talk to them. I have learned to read faces a little bit more during the time in the classroom. I think this will help me to understand when people are confused or not. #TCH296
A5: From observing I learned what works and what does not work while teaching. Observing allows me to look for certain things while my classmates teach. #TCH296
A4: I have learned a lot from the students while observing them. I learned that they enjoy working in groups and being able to collaborate with their peers. #TCH296
A3: A think that I learned from taking risk is that not everything is going to go as planned. Being able to adjust and changing my mindset has really helped me. #TCH296
While reading this article, one tip was focus more on reward than punishment. I thought that was a great idea because sometime students get used to punishments and then the punishment stops working. #TCH296 https://t.co/rULpdm2XTo
A2: I have benefited from seeing how my classmates teach and interact with the students. That gives me perspective on what works with students and what is not very effective. While observing I get to see how the student respond to the material given. #TCH296
While reading this article it shows me that in my future classroom I want to have felxible seating. Students benefit from the freedom of choosing. https://t.co/qlHMY2XcNX #TCH296
After reading this article by Margie Markarian, I have found some good questions or as she says "sponge activities" to pass time with students at the end of the class period. https://t.co/S55ioTGJfj
In this article, I found it very interesting that more people learn when they are actively engaged in conversations with other students. I think it was interesting because all throughout my schooling it was just sit and watch the teacher talk. #TCH296

A5: One thing that motivates students is when they can relate to the topic. A way to engage the students is to make the topic relevant to the class. #TCH296
A4: I plan on being responsive and flexible in my classroom by reaching each student individually. When students are struggling I will bring it to the classes attention without calling out students. #TCH296
