@AdamChandler Oops. I believe we are cut from different jibs, but I admire your unique approach. Nonetheless, I hope you do well. P.s. the audio in your video needs some love.
@AprilSpectrum@ZebraW2015 We won't :) My wife is on the school board. We're viewing this as an educational opportunity. I'm just struggling with the right language to talk to our little man.
Turns out that our son's teacher decided to announce to a bunch of 6 y.o that my son "has autism." Murderous rampage aside, any tips from #actuallyautistic's on how we should talk to our little man about autism? What would you have wanted to hear as a little kid?
@ZebraW2015 Thank you for the replies. The teacher acted outside the boundaries of the school policy, our explicit instructions, and the discrimination act. We will sleep on it over the weekend prior to considering our formal response. Atm we want to work out the best way to talk to our son.
@_katherine_may_ Damn! Ok, give me a baseline. At the moment I have boiling water (a), a tea bag (b), and a cup (c). a goes into c, which contains b, resulting in subpar t. Help! :)
@TheBlackWildcat I couldn't live without my noise cancelling headphones and the ability to move into quiet areas / outside. Honestly, I personally struggle with the open office concept, but I also see the benefits for others through increased knowledge sharing and collaboration.
@TheBlackWildcat I work full-time in an open hotdesk office. My team has been in this environment for 5+ years, but I only moved out of an individual office at xmas.
I now know my team much better and overall productivity is up. But ... I'm personally about 30% less productive than before.
