An Indian engineer in Bengaluru got tired of potholes destroying his car.
So he built an app with Codex that detects them, finds who is responsible, and files a complaint.
Here is how it works. He installed a dashcam with GPS and an accelerometer. The app records everything while he drives.
A vision model classifies every pothole by size. Small, medium, large.
But here is the clever part. Most Indian roads are under warranty.
The contractor who built them is legally responsible for fixing potholes for free.
His app searches through 2,900 government contracts, finds the exact tender number, identifies the officer responsible, attaches the photo and geolocation, and generates a ready-to-file complaint.
One drive to work. 12 potholes detected. 12 complaints ready.

The people who know coding, who can make websites at fly, are the people who need to be civic conscious. Coz they have the power of accountability in their keyboards.

India’s exports grew 4.22%.
Vietnam’s exports grew 16.7%.
Then politicians will come on TV and tell us:
"India is becoming the manufacturing hub of the world."
Okay.
Show me the export numbers.
Because factories don't create prosperity by sitting inside India.
They create prosperity by selling to the world.
Devotion or Capitalism ?
The old lady seems more tilted to devotion, but couldn't afford bansuri as the special gift from the priest.
VIP culture is a pure mockery of devotion.

This is what a good freebie looks like.
Offer free education, affordable health care and skill training instead of laadli behna and chutiya chachi yojna.
In the last 50 years, roughly 5 American Senators have switched parties from Republican to Democrat or vice versa.. a number that our politicians in India take one week to surpass... we are staring at moral bankruptcy... where votes cast by voters don't matter....
Shubhankar Mishra:
If you were made Prime Minister for one day, what would be the first thing you do?
Sanjay Mishra:
The first thing I would do is make an institute for politicians who want to contest elections. If they have studied at such an institute, we will know what skills and knowledge they have, just like doctors need proper education and training. Not any random person should be allowed to contest elections.
Today's Telegram ban is proof of why an indigenous social media or messaging app can never grow in India.
If @durov was Indian, he would be in jail along with his entire team and his entire infrastructure seized because a question paper was supposedly leaked on Telegram. It would have taken a few months to get bail. Line of FIRs stretching to Kanyakumari. Court cases dragging on for a decade or more. TV channels would have gone to town with all kinds of consipracies of how Soros is involved.
We have vaguely written laws, open to the worst interpretation and bureaucratic overreactions. It's not a stable foundation for anyone to build on.
The same applies to now AI. Anyday someone will be offended in this country by anything an indigenous AI generates in text or images and the founders can find themselves in jail and fighting court cases.
All this drama of going to 5 foreign countries every month to bring "business" is plain stupid.
Solve basics things, like:-
1) No dogs/animals on roads
2) Proper garbage collection
3) Easy availability of taxis (& fair pricing)
This itself boosts tourism by 15-20% especially foreign tourists. And, helps bring foreign $ (which we desperately need now).
Best part: the budget for 1 foreign visit can be used to solve all above issues in places like Goa.
We won't do it. Because we are "talk" economy.
Not an action economy.
It is common sense to pick low hanging fruits first.
But, who cares about common sense.
I dread opening factory WhatsApp group. Absolutely pathetic power situation. One of India’s largest industrial town struggling with power everyday. After 75 years and every possible government. All the dreams of Vikshit bharat will remain just that.
Ever wonder why more and more Indians are getting blackpilled?
A JCB was digging a drain in Delhi and ended up bringing down a man's house while he's still paying the EMI on it.
Not a single mainstream media covered this.
