Quizlet is such a useful app. I've used it in my college classes, as it makes memorizing facts (or vocabulary for language classes) more portable, interactive, and fun! Great for a wide variety of ages and subjects! #indt501

Making a QR code this module showed me that QR codes can help make assignments more interactive. You could make a scavenger hunt, in which students either search for pictures/objects/facts and turn them in through QR codes, or they search for the codes themselves! #indt501

I love the idea of keeping computer labs open for study halls/ homeroom time/after school so that students can still take advantage of technology outside of class time, even if they don't have access at home! #indt501

I love 3D printing as it can be used for Universal Design for Learning- differentiation for interest (engagement) and expression (output). I personally love creative projects, and can't wait to offer 3D printing as a potential project for my students! #indt501

Attributions of art are so important. I want my students to be proud of the work they do and to therefore respect the work of others! To encourage this, I'll take time to demonstrate how to attribute/cite an image/work, so they know how to pay respect to the artist! #indt501

Concept maps are a great way to take notes or make connections to past concepts! For example, concepts maps to break down a type of conjugating (i.e. indicative tense) into parts (ar, er, and ir verbs) is one way to help students make connections and better understand! #indt501

I chose standard SI.5.2 for this module, as it encourages students to use their newfound communication skills and vocabulary in Spanish to share their ideas and collaborate with others! This provides countless opportunities for higher level thinking! #indt501

I loved the Universal Design for Learning framework and the idea of allowing multiple ways to learn and express ideas! I always found that using art to show learning worked best for me in school, and plan to have similar opportunities for my students! #indt501
