$PLTR Burry doubles down on Palantir. And perhaps has lost his marbles.
I'm not sure how anyone could have taken him seriously before on the name, as other than on valuation, he was woefully ignorant.
Arguing Palantir is too expensive because Alex Karp travels (to secure deals - growing 93% Y/Y) was a crazy take.
What's even more crazy, is he thinks Palantir is worth less than $1 in the long run. He mocked CEO Alex Karp for not understanding a 13F filing, so I think it's fair to question whether or not Burry can read a balance sheet.
No debt, $9.5b in cash/equivalents (mostly treasuries), and $1.2b in FCF. Even if Palantir weren't growing at all (and it's nearly doubling Y/Y), and even if their revenue just ceased to exist, nobody in their right mind would say it would be trading below $1.
@jacobin CA budget rose EVERY year and income taxes that were presented as temporary to “shore up budgets” with Jerry Brown became permanent. Tell me again why we need more money for social feel good programs and public experiments?
@hussmanjp Bro drew a 45-degree line, summoned the entire Greek alphabet, calculated every correlation known to man, and studied 40 years of market cycles just to underperform u/PankoTendies67 buying calls from his couch. 😭
