Think this a great idea - pick an appropriate source for your culture/religion:
"Do not rebuke a scoffer, for he will hate you;
Reprove a wise man, and he will love you"
Or "Never argue on the internet, never argue on the internet, never argue on the internet"
@FurtherOr@kymeriandawn That's Brexit to blame.
Though Poirot did charge as a private practice, so I think the Atlee government is to blame for eliminating that one
@FurtherOr@kymeriandawn It was not long ago that police work could be outsourced to local elderly spinsters for free.
But the Blairite (or Thatcherite, insert bogeyman here) reforms destroyed that world
@CharlesTannock@tomhfh No - like it says in the article everyone called GB and Ireland the British Isles. The debate was whether there was a "Little Britain" and what it was
@Hugh_might@tomhfh que? I wouldn't dictate to *other* countries what they call geographic locations. If the Irish decide that they want to call it something else go for it, but no-one else has to take it seriously
@CharlesTannock@tomhfh The "Little Britain" may not have been Ireland but it seems pretty clear the ancients grouped it all as the "British Isles".
But it's irrelevant here anyway - "Britain" is short for "UK of Great Britain and NI"
