The reality is the money does need to be spent appropriately for sure but yes more money well spent would help.

@CarolinaJournal The figure is inflated anyways. Graduation rates are easy to raise if no one can fail. In 14 years, I've seen one student held back by request of the parent. Research to indicate holding back doesn't help, but passing on can't be the solution.

@AngelaForNC @ncpublicschools Private schools don't have to educate all students, and they can cater to certain religious or political beliefs. In other words, parents have a greater control over who their children interact with. It was never quality of educators, but rather who their children were with.

@nckhui Was this considering the raise in medical costs? I pay an extra 70 bucks a month for medical coverage so there went my "step increase."
