@KPASKSWHY@minnowsailor Few to none of these people have their name in their accounts. Either bots or trolls. I appreciate the attempt at discussion but you aren't going to get anywhere here. The reality is the money does need to be spent appropriately for sure but yes more money well spent would help.
@nckhui Do you know if the budget deal just reached will include back pay for teachers? In the past when they've taken forever on a budget we'd get back pay by November or December.
@CarolinaJournal The figure is inflated anyways. Graduation rates are easy to raise if no one can fail. In 14 years, I've seen one student held back by request of the parent. Research to indicate holding back doesn't help, but passing on can't be the solution.
@AngelaForNC@ncpublicschools Private schools don't have to educate all students, and they can cater to certain religious or political beliefs. In other words, parents have a greater control over who their children interact with. It was never quality of educators, but rather who their children were with.
@catcrogers@nckhui Fair point. If they all have those concerns I'd either not use them or use one that is simple and easy though. I do feel for people who only have everything saved on Canvas.
@nckhui Why is there an "and" there? The reason we are relatively lean is our higher number of students per staff, which is worse for educational outcomes. I don't understand.
@nckhui It's crazy to me. None of the comments here have actual profile pictures. Makes me think they are either bots or are afraid to stand behind their opinions. I appreciate the collection for the food bank.
