Lebanon is the most Christian country left in the Middle East. Southern Lebanon is majority Muslims and we took care and preserve of the Christian heritage sites—such as the location of the "Wedding at Qana (Cana)," where Jesus performed his first public miracle by turning water into wine—as well as some of the earliest churches. Until Israel has now flattened all these Christian religious sites.

Your governments expressed outrage, then the relationship between your governments and Israel continued as normal; weapons parts keep flowing, and multi-billion-dollar contracts entered with Israeli arms manufactures, your taxes keep funding and your governments keep defending the genocide and ecocide in Lebanon.

Enough of the outrage. You need to sanction Israel and stop supplying the industry that builds the bombs and the missiles that kills not just Muslims, but Christians alike.

Lebanon is more than a country; it is a message. A message of freedom and an example of pluralism for East and West. South Lebanon formed part of the spiritual geography of Christianity and a "holy land".
