The Sigil of The “Light Bearer”

Some believe the sigil is an older symbol for Enki,
one of the oldest Gods known to mankind,
dating back over 12,000 years ago in the first human civilizations.
Enki was known to be the leader of a group of
Gods who came to aid humanity,
offering knowledge and guidance.

The figure is probably derived from an earlier work, most
likely drawn from a magic square whose origins are now lost.

Lucifer and the figure of the Light Bearer is not a symbol of destruction or evil, but of a misunderstood force, veiled in the mist of the unknown, awaiting the moment when his true essence is recognized. He is not the enemy of darkness, but its key, showing us that light often shines painfully upon the truths we most wish to conceal. Yet it is precisely this radiance that summons our courage to face our own shadow. Thus the depths of darkness become not emptiness, but the sacred ground of transformation, where light is born and new horizons are revealed within us.

You see the light only after enduring the dark. Spiritually, this reflects the path of inner illumination, by confronting our fears, doubts, and wounds, we grow wiser and more conscious.

Lucifer is a symbol of inner confrontation and transformation. Rather than embodying evil, he represents the challenge of honest self reflection.

To those who avoid introspection, who resist facing their own fears, flaws, or suppressed desires, Lucifer appears threatening. He holds up a mirror they’re not ready to face. But for those brave enough to confront themselves, Lucifer becomes a mentor like force, one that provokes growth, rewards sincerity, and pushes them beyond their limits…

The idea resonates strongly with Carl Jung’s theory of the shadow, the notion that wholeness comes from integrating the hidden and rejected parts of ourselves.

The image originates in the sixteenth century Italian Grimoirium Verum,
or “Grimoire of Truth.” Used in conjunction with other symbols,
its original purpose of the sigil was to aid in
a visual invocation of Lucifer.

Historically, the Ouroboros can be traced back to Egyptian mythology, where it first emerged as a representation of the eternal cycle of existence. Its timeless presence in spiritual traditions has earned it a central role in the alchemical philosophies of purification and renewal.
It also expresses the process of individuation, the merging of the conscious and unconscious within the psyche (C.Jung).
Alchemists believed that true transformation required breaking down the old self to rebuild it into something purer and higher( Solve et coagula).This is a universal spiritual principle, an archetype of death and rebirth, essential to any real inner transformation.

The all seeing eye represents cosmic awareness, the principle of divine observation, and the focal point of supreme knowledge, an invitation to look beyond appearances to grasp deeper truths.
In Hermetic traditions, it is the light of consciousness capable of seeing the essence behind form. Psychologically, the"inner eye" emphasizes the importance of intuition and developing one’s inner vision…

Un profesor del MIT dio la misma conferencia cada enero durante 40 años, y cada una de las veces no cabía ni un alma en el aula.

La vi a las 2 de la mañana y cambió por completo mi forma de entender la comunicación.

Su nombre era Patrick Winston. La conferencia se titula "Cómo hablar" (How to Speak).

Su frase de apertura te golpea como un camión: "Tu éxito en la vida vendrá determinado en gran medida por tu capacidad para hablar, tu capacidad para escribir y la calidad de tus ideas, en ese orden".

Ni tu nota media, ni tus títulos, ni tu coeficiente intelectual. Cómo hablas es lo que separa a las personas que son escuchadas de las que son ignoradas.

Este es el esquema que inculcó a los estudiantes del MIT durante cuatro décadas:

1) Nunca empieces con un chiste: Empieza diciendo a la gente exactamente qué es lo que va a aprender. "Prepara la bomba antes de verter nada". Él lo llamaba la "promesa de empoderamiento": dales una razón para no levantarse del asiento en los primeros 60 segundos.

2) La regla de las 5S: Para que una idea se quede grabada debe ser: Símbolo, Slogan, Sorpresa, Saliente (relevante) e Historia (Story). Cualquier idea que valga la pena recordar cumple al menos tres de estas.

3) La técnica del "casi acierto" (Near Miss): Esta parte me dejó alucinado. No te limites a mostrar lo que está bien; muestra lo que parece estar bien pero no lo está. Ese contraste es lo que hace que el cerebro registre algo de forma permanente.

4) Su regla final: Termina con una contribución, no con un resumen. No recapitules lo que ya dijiste. Dile a la gente qué les has dado que no tenían antes de entrar por la puerta.

He usado este esquema en ventas, entrevistas y presentaciones desde que lo vi, y los resultados no son sutiles.

Patrick Winston falleció en 2019, pero esta clase sigue siendo gratuita en el OpenCourseWare del MIT. Una hora, vista por millones de personas, y no cuesta absolutamente nada.
