@scottguzman@tony_chapman76 No....I believe the way the rule is written is if an 8th grade student competes on a high school team (Varsity or JV) they are ineligible to also compete in the JH division of that same sport
@tony_chapman76 A proposal to allow this (at least for Class D) has come up several times in the past few years, hasn't it? It just never made it out of the district meeting phase, IIRC

So if my math is correct, Avery Arens mile time at the Drake Relays of 4:54.84 would convert to a 1600 meter time of approx 4:53.13 (the Mile is roughly 10 meters longer than the 1600).....which would break her state record of 4:56.18.
