@usatodaysports Herbstreit is entitled to his opinion, but it’s a bad look for him to make comments like this on the eve of hosting the BYU-ND GameDay. You’re at least supposed to try and hide your bias as a professional.
@kyle_813 I’ve been to several of the ND-BYU games dating back to my student days in the ‘90s. My experience is that both fan bases are actually pretty respectful at the games. It’s just a few idiots on each side that hide behind screens that cause trouble. Should be a good game.
@BYUBiotechGuy OK, that one was funny. But you guys have all the pressure. You can’t afford to lose to the team that lost to Northern Illinois by 1 point — and in Provo no less.
@ByuSome Nobody really cares. He’s a unique kid, and he’s earned the right to wear whatever he wants. Our defense will give him all he can handle tomorrow, though. I am just hoping for a good solid game from both teams. Two great schools with great traditions. Go Irish.
@CFBGuy999 The stadium itself is only so-so, to be honest. But those Wasatch mountains in the background, especially at night, is almost enough to make you convert. Almost.
@realstocksnews CJ takes what the defense gives him. BYU has a really good defense, but I’d bet a Kirtland Safety Society note that Carr will take a whole lot more tomorrow than he will give. Big, big mistake to underestimate that guy.
@_consistent_man Just worry about the game. If BYU wins, you’ll have deserved it and BYU will be in a great spot in the rankings; you’ll force ND into a win-or-die game against Miami. But if ND comes into LES and beats you, all your rambling is pointless.
@Chase_Swartz3 Other than some idiots (on both sides, BTW) that hide behind screens, no serious ND fan thinks that. We’ve got a loaded team and have good reason to be optimistic. But BYU is solid and their fans are loyal. Two great schools. It should be a great game.
@XRPBYU I’ve got lots of respect for BYU’s loyal fan base. But just 2 years ago, ND went into Texas A&M (102,733 capacity). They call it Home of the 12th Man for a reason. Despite that rabid, hostile crowd, ND got the win. ND/BYU are both great teams. Let’s hope for a great game.
@Jonnyspincycle There are ridiculous fans on both sides. The worst of the worst hide behind screens. For the most part though, BYU and ND fans represent their schools well. Two great schools. Should be a helluva game Saturday.
