I recently sat down with Adam Driver and came away with some news: He and Steven Soderbergh spent two years developing a "Star Wars" movie that Disney ultimately nixed.
A New New Hope: Fans took to the skies and streets to demand the HUNT FOR BEN SOLO movie, flying a banner over Disney HQ today and plastering LA's mid-Wilshire district with missing person posters. https://t.co/LU67aXYSeG
I don't even get involved in actors lives all that much or do the "actor fandom" thing but I'm really starting to wonder if Driver doesn't have a secret Ben Solo or reylo account somewhere. He wouldn't have time for that normally but it could still exist...IDK
@ClarissaDeLune@BonnieSwims Same … only after the news of #TheHuntforBenSolo I am starting The Acolyte
It’s a win to know that Adam kept fighting for a Ben Solo different ending and LucasFilm also wanted to do it. It means THEY KNOW that ending was NOT RIGHT!
And the Reylos… were right again.
It wasn’t the end of the story, not for Adam, not for LucasFilm…
We knew they killed the myth and they knew it also and they still need to fix it
#AdamDriver revealed he worked with director Steven Soderbergh on a Kylo Ren-centered film called The Hunt for Ben Solo, calling it “one of the coolest scripts” he’d ever been part of. However, Disney ultimately rejected the project after questioning how Ben Solo could still be alive, per ScreenCrush.
