Go to the church as if you were going to Calvary, and behave yourself before the altar as before the throne of God, in company with the holy angels.
-St. Leonard of Port Maurice
We live in a world where everyone believes being depressed or angry gives you some kind of creative edge and that you’re not supposed to geek out on yourself, but fuck that, I don’t want anyone to fan out on me more than I fan out on myself I don’t care. You can live your “I don’t love myself” life BUT NOT ME. I’m really fucking talented man. I’m sorry. I’m not going to stop believing in myself because you’ve had a bad month.

There’s a guy running an entire economy built on fake live streams and making $5,000 a day.
It looks real at first glance but that’s the whole point.
They take footage that people want to believe is live.
Then they run it as a 24/7 livestream.
The algorithm doesn’t care if it’s real. It only cares if people stay and watch.
As the stream grows, monetization turns on and money starts pouring in:
Live gifts / donations
View based payouts
Platform bonuses
Comments questioning it don’t hurt the stream. They help the guy make more money.
More comments = more reach.
That’s the business model.
this is actually insane
> be tech guy in australia
> adopt cancer riddled rescue dog, months to live
> not_going_to_give_you_up.mp4
> pay $3,000 to sequence her tumor DNA
> feed it to ChatGPT and AlphaFold
> zero background in biology
> identify mutated proteins, match them to drug targets
> design a custom mRNA cancer vaccine from scratch
> genomics professor is “gobsmacked” that some puppy lover did this on his own
> need ethics approval to administer it
> red tape takes longer than designing the vaccine
> 3 months, finally approved
> drive 10 hours to get rosie her first injection
> tumor halves
> coat gets glossy again
> dog is alive and happy
> professor: “if we can do this for a dog, why aren’t we rolling this out to humans?”
one man with a chatbot, and $3,000 just outperformed the entire pharmaceutical discovery pipeline.
we are going to cure so many diseases.
I dont think people realize how good things are going to get
getting dunked on
losing
misunderstood
carrying hot guns
is the road to be great
it makes great leaders, fathers and the rest of society benefits
fail fail fail!
i think solana takes it all, it's the qualitative games that no other chain can play.
What's a better niche than ease and speed?
Maybe an appchain, but the TAM is too small and don't have the qualitative games that form scenes.
the only way to lose in the greatest wealth transfer.
is believing stuff like the "permeant underclass".
geniuses make fortunes off accidents.
and the biggest dog will take it all.
have fun :)
dude computers are actually so fucking insane when you really think about it. we literally figured out how to write some fake-ass rules called code and somehow convinced rocks to follow them. like actual rocks. sand, melted, purified, carved into tiny pathways where electricity just flows in patterns. that’s it. that’s the whole magic.
and yet from that we get operating systems, compilers, kernels, networks, distributed systems, machine learning models, entire virtual worlds running inside other virtual worlds. billions of tiny electrical decisions per second, all because we defined some abstract logic.
humans basically invented a language of instructions and taught matter itself to execute it.
