Managing the family farm to benefit wildlife. 70 acres of new woodland and wildflower habitat created- 'Forest of Flowers'. Gardener, Bee-keeper, Goat-Keeper.
At a North York’s farm to see 5 new ponds for great-crested newts, all part of our new licensing approach to create habitat where newts and wildlife can thrive…and set within this stunning 74acre farmland being returned to woodland & meadows. Beautiful. https://t.co/GONj13EKTA
Very excited to reveal that we have our first ever website! Designed to provide more information and updates on what is happening at our conservation project, Forest of Flowers, and to sell wildflower seeds to help fund our project 🦋🦋🦋.https://t.co/5LGG4MJpez
We are pleased to announce that we shall be opening the farm for a guided walk with myself for #lofs. If you would like to learn more about the benefits of creating new #woodland with #wildflowers using the 'Forest of Flowers' technique you can book here:

Surprised to see this magnificent bird staring down at me as I went to milk the goats this morning. Currently trying to get in touch with the local bird of prey centre...it doesn't look very wild! @YorkBirding@YorksWildlife
I think Ragwort is a fabulous plant, beautiful flowers late in the season, supporting a diversity of invertebrates, here with the Cinnabar moth caterpillar. @YorksWildlife@BC_Yorkshire
A Little Owl finally posing for me at Home Farm. It was followed by a cacophony of Blackbird alarm calls where ever it went @YorkBirding@YorksWildlife@UKLittleOwls
