Insane stat of the day: California almonds use roughly 3–5.5 million acre-feet of water per year, depending on methodology.
That's ~4-7x more water than all data centers in North America used combined in 2025.
@TJStats It’s called getting in the door. I’m not saying you or anyone should take it, but it’s an opportunity to learn, network, and even prove yourself in the ultimate arena. There is more to compensation than salary.
@AaronQuinn716@joeroganhq I agree. A doctor is a consultant, you don’t have to listen to everything they say, but you are paying for their advice and neither party should be forced to sit in the room with one another for 30 minutes. Anyway the following comments have been worth my price of admission here.
@AaronQuinn716@joeroganhq So should a doctor be able to fire a patient who doesn’t diet/exercise? I think they should, but I’m going to bet you feel differently about that one.
@Zigmanfreud The truth is everything you’re arguing to protect is already dead. Once they expanded beyond 4 it all died. Conference championships, bowl games, rivalries; it was all sacrificed to sell playoff TV games. Now they’re just logically squeezing more of that out.
