@ironbow@DennisWardNews@APTNNews I follow guidance from my matriarchs I spoke with the ppl before running bc there is change needed at that level I am not a victim I’m doing the best I can with what I know I do my best to follow our ways and advocate and implement change for the future generations Respectfully
@ironbow@DennisWardNews@APTNNews As mentioned we all are allowed our opinions. I face a lot of lateral violence and scrutinizing as a young woman in politics. I’m hoping to change the narrative and break down barriers for other young women, single mothers and the younger generation. I wish you all the best. 🙏🏽
@ironbow@DennisWardNews@APTNNews I think our leaders need to continue to speak about these issues of violence in society and in our communities if we want to see and implement change for the future generations. This is not about me nor my father this is about the harms that keep happening to our people daily.
@ironbow@DennisWardNews@APTNNews Good morning Debbie we are allowed our opinion I respect yours. I advocate as someone who has experiences sexual assault and violence I advocate as a mother of two Firsr Nation daughters and I am very close with all the families I work with who allow me to speak to these issues.
