Was going to take some well-earned time off in November, but thanks to non-maskers all our supervisors have been told not to approve leave unless absolutely necessary. Is the urge to kill everyone considered necessary cause for time off?
It's all going to be worth it someday. It will all work out just as it was always supposed to. Everything will eventually be ok.

I feel really burnt out lately and I'm trying to be more honest about it. I don't have the energy to text my friends back a lot of the time. I feel isolated and want to sleep a lot. Work is ... hard. I've mentioned this to a couple friends, who said they feel the same way.
So who wants to start a secret society where we meet in formal loungewear, velvet dressing gowns & the like, and drink tea & wine and discuss whatever we're reading or watching as if it's revered classic literature (don't tell anyone though bc it's secret)
On this Labor Day, I would like to say THANK YOU to all of our frontline healthcare workers who have labored to save lives throughout this pandemic. And also send all my gratitude to frontline grocery clerks, delivery people, postal workers, food service employees, & teachers. ❤️
If you do one thing today, please check your language when speaking to women. You may not realise it but you are likely using sexist adjectives when talking about the women in your life - words you would never use to describe a man. Put it in check.
Bad timing doesn't mean stop trying. Just because a day, a month, or an entire year (ahem, 2020) doesn't align with your desire doesn't mean you should give up and set all your goals on fire. You just need to adjust until things are slightly less fucked up.
