@Mattgcha Yes, I think that there needs to be #stricterregulations put in place in terms of workplace harassment and #inappropriate behavior. Women should be able to speak up and file lawsuits without fear of losing their job or being #judged
@Alyssalawkent1 The political, religious, territorial conflict between Isreal and Palestine is a historically long battle where innocent lives have been lost. The Israeli government has severely limited the Palestinians human rights as the people have been killed and #tourtured.
@Mattgcha This man deserved to receive an acknowledgment from the government for this extraordinary effort to save the young boy. The migrant had already filed for #citizenship and this just advanced the process. I think this was a one-time event where the man put his life at risk as well.
@Mattgcha No, I think there is plenty work to do including #education on gun safety and what to do in #emergency gun situations. Police need to revisit gun owners registration annually to make sure they are 1. "mentally stable" & 2. have all required legal paperwork.
@briar_law I agree, there are lots of #supporting devices that allow the driver to texts hands-free and with the increasing price of fine, I don't see why drivers even text & drive to begin with. It is all up to the #responsibility of the driver and it is ultimately their choice to text!
@WindebankLaw I think that similar to taxis there should be cameras in the uber. This #protects both the driver and the #passengers if an offense were to occur. The real question is would the drivers have control of the video or would it be sent straight to #uber.
@Alyssalawkent1 Yes, I think that the flight attendant has #noright to assume that was not her child. The airline should apologize for asking for more than a passport and #questioning the mother's guardianship to the child.
@CatGambinoLaw Passing #hitler is not the way to win votes or Ontario. I think that she should make a public apology but not face any legal actions. This will just affect her candidacy which will be enough of a #consequence
@CristianoRLAW This should set a #precedent for other police brutality cases in Ontario. Social media is a huge part of the #PoliceBrutality across the world coming to light in the past year. Just because they enforce the law does not make them #above it
@isabel_bcsslaw To prevent hit and runs all 2019 cars should come equipped with a front #camera in the hopes to catch it on video. I think there should be harsher #fines and punishments such as #jail time on hit and runs in order to prevent them from happening in the first place.
@victoriaglaw Yes, I think that this is a violent act that is putting the other person's life at risk. #roadrage is not an excuse for threatening the safety of another person.
@isabel_bcsslaw To help support women in the workplace against #harrasment it needs to be made legal to have sexual harassment #clauses in the employment contract.Specific clauses that protect these victims will not only allow them to keep their job but be able to speak up to start change #MeToo
@ChoiLaw10 I think that the hockey teams #hazzing the players need to be dealt with in an appropriate manner that informs them of the First Nations Heritage. First Nations rights have not been a priority in Canada and #education is the first step!
@natalie_BCSSlaw The jury is a crucial part of most court cases as they provide an #unbiased opinion. Should the jury members electronic devices be #monitored to protect the safety of the case? Or would that go against s.8 the right to #unreasonable search or seizure?
This is #awful the mother left her daughter in the care of the daycare and they failed to provide the necessary supervision and protocol to ensure the child's safety. Should the mother sue the daycare or is getting money back #enough? https://t.co/7pkMg6U9Ik
A Montreal mom is distraught after she found her 18-month-old daughter crying and alone in the yard of her daycare.
She says there were three educators responsible for the group of six children, and they told her they simply forgot to count the children. https://t.co/av35F7HJrf
@isabel_bcsslaw 2/2 However I think that she should receive a #seperatecharge for threatening to kill everyone on board as there are even innocent children on board. The maximum penalty for uttering threats is 5 years in prison. Should #cigarettes be completely #banned from planes?
@isabel_bcsslaw 1/2 I think that her punishment is completely #fair. Smoking on a plane can endanger the lives of everyone on it and the passengers are constantly reminded through pictures, signs, and continuous announcements that smoking is #prohibited.
@isabel_bcsslaw I think that the regulations should be less strict and more similar to Europe as drinking is not seen as #rebelous to teens it is a part of the #culture. Should Canada make it legal to have supervised consumption of wine/beer at private places simiular to the UK?
@SabrinaF89 I agree, in most jobs being #intoxicated on the job could be in serious violation of many employment #contracts. Should employers be able to do an #alcoholtest under "reasonable cause"?
1/2 Consuming marijuana edibles while on duty is an #ObstructionOfJustice and breach of trust. The courts should also consider charging the officers for being high while on duty, and #drugimpaired driving as they were found in the car. #consumingevidence https://t.co/O6la54Z1Bc
Two Toronto police officers made headlines for allegedly consuming marijuana edibles while on duty and then calling for backup. They're now facing charges. https://t.co/AQLZiFlk4z
