My one concern with the outcome of the US elections is the blind fear the left is currently experiencing due to years of media brainwashing.
When pressed into a (perceived) corner, people tend to act orders of magnitude more stupidly and violently than usual.
@BradHuston@ericyakes I mean...he has a point.
They also never will. I would replace 'money' with 'bitcoin' though.
Most are stupid enough that they should not be trusted to protect their life savings, which could be accessed via say 16 word passphrase.
Crypto for everything is a criminal's dream.
@Scaramucci The biggest problem with this is the idea that somehow, even though population sizes have changed, what we consume has changed drastically, etc. that an ounce of gold remains an inviolable measure of a specific amount of wealth.
It is, frankly, somewhat retarded.
@Jonathan_Witt@MsMelChen My only issue here is that "genocide" has been broken down in to a 10 step process.
It's akin to pregnancy, sure we are not a birth yet, maybe 2nd trimester, and miscarriages' happen.
It's not correct to only apply the label when reaching step 10.

@Gohawks2013@Atom_Sku11@amerikaners2025 Fair enough. There are many states. It's hard to keep track off all of their differences.
I did note a lot of blue states in that picture.
@Atom_Sku11@amerikaners2025 You are aware that afrikaners are generally very conservative and very Christian? I am not sure that most the states you mentioned would be a good match.

@JDVanceNewsX How about a non-permanent recurring agency.
Every decade or so you spin it up for 2 years with fresh eyes, to see what waste can be cut.
Then wind it down and leave it dormant for 8 years.
@elonmusk@amuse The true problem with the US constitution is that you don't have the philosophy to back it up.
Not that it doesn't exist.
It's just that you don't know why it is good. So you lose the arguments, so godamn always.
The ZA constitution has many many flaws.
Which is to say, destroying a local knowledge and production base is bad, regardless of the financial benefit.
Yes, comparative advantage is useful in economics, but there are downsides to outsourcing your independence.
So, tariffs.
First order, it is a tax on citizens, but as a play to shake things up....I like it.
Trump is certainly working under some misapprehensions of reality, ie. that deficits are to the detriment to the USA financially.
However, it is certainly a structural deficit.
