D21: Browsed through https://t.co/OgrfFJgYEx. Like an Udemy on-line graduate course. Also watched the last 20 minutes of https://t.co/E68WNEkosV. I'm so out of my league, now. But aside from the math and coding, there are still basic principles I can recognize and connect to. 👍

D20: Watched this https://t.co/qyB1zLT187 class. Introduced & illustrated clearly coding prompts. Followed easily w/out any coding background. Impressed by how the prompt guidelines & strategies work for teaching kids, too. Be clear & give thinking time.

This came up in my entertainment feeds and I'm not sure what to make of it yet. Keeping an eye out for more information from other sources.

An excellent article. I'll have to go back and find the other ones they've put out for past years. Positive connections between relationships and rigor, sketchnotes work, and effective brain breaks stood out to me. All good info, though.
"middle school students who solved a dozen math problems spread out across three weeks scored 21 percentage points higher on a follow-up math test than students who solved all 12 problems on the same day."

📚 Steps to mastery of a skill: 1. acquisition (I did it once) 2. fluency (I can do it consistently) 3. maintenance (I can keep doing it) 4. transfer (I can use it in new ways) (Hanson, et al., 1978) and still true. #LeadInclusion#EdLeaders#UDL#SBLchat#TG2Chat#TeacherTwitter
@nicolejauthor Oh, yeah. Mostly just indulging in brain candies. But that post was just to mark for myself why I re-tweeted your tweet. I'm new to Twitter, so I'm trying to leave "notes to self" when I retweet, so that it's easier for me to keep track of stuff. I liked the 10-min/day graphic.
2. If you want to write as a job then you need to show up like that, with it taking a greater priority in your life. If you are working, have kids/caring responsibilities/ illness/disability that will be hard - for that reason I have the 10minute writing method.
All right. My Educational Technology/ AI course is over. I'm going to start trying to expand my Twitter interests in regards to my continuing professional development as an educator. Wish me luck!
@milljord While I'm skeptical of relying on AI to fill therapeutic roles, the suggestions here are reasonable and applicable. I would use them in a pinch when connecting with another person for support just isn't an option in the moment. I especially liked the procrastination suggestion.
