Feels like a lot of the importance of Kris’ character and being a copy was heavily stressed in chapter 1 in ways that were really difficult to notice. Surely 73 copies and SevenFour have no connection as ideas at all #deltarune

@tokidriffft But if their origin was as a sort of copy or clone in the same way that the goner / vessel is just a collection of default options, them being a “copy” is less relevant because of what they literally are and more because of what it means for them as a person / character

@tokidriffft I would think it was! I also think it’s really hard to get a teenager to do anything you say let alone follow a convoluted Prophecy at the behest of someone who wasn’t themselves, so a lot of our friction with Kris has more to do with them trying to just be their own person

@tokidriffft @frokiedude Like it doesn’t HAVE to be something crazy but the sting of coincidence is wild. Kinda like it’s not too important, but not too unimportant, like many other aspects of the story

It’s just that the presence of those numbers together is randomly becoming more consistent in the narrative so I feel there might be more layered meanings (Toby also does stuff like this a decent amount). A perfect example is the newfound importance of 11 as a number. 7+4
