PS: I am not against reservation. It may be continued but not in Education especially recruiting Teachers & Medical Practitioner Education i.e. MBBS, MS, MD etc.
Even if there is some vote bank related compulsion for political parties, minimum qualifying criteria must be in place

Average Google Reviews for their main campus is 3.4/5 which should be ideally more than 4 for such kind of Big Hospital.

IMO Govt doesn't want to set precedent of Resignation of Ministers. If one Minister resigns, demand for other resignation will arise.
My biggest fear is that Policy paralysis will now start as like in UPA-2 Era. Taking policy decision is better than sitting on files as like UPA-2

It’s not just about the resignation. The timing matters.

If the Education Minister had accepted the lapse and resigned when the issue first came to light, it would have been seen as taking responsibility and respecting public accountability.

Resigning now, after weeks of protests, makes it feel less like accountability and more like giving in to the pressure.
