I’ve seen so much more NOT get called goalie interference…
Can definitely make a case #Sabres got hosed. That’s embarrassing…

“This is kind of the equivalent of 19,000 people pulling over in a snowstorm to help somebody whose car is stuck in a snowbank.
“That’s just what people here do.”

The blade gang is now playing street hockey with a crunched up @LabattUSA cans as pucks. Mid video, a fan with a Stanley Cup wearing the traditional white gloves shows up. What a city.
Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs since 2011... but
• they were the largest U.S. market for the 2026 Olympic Gold Medal Game
• In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 Stanley Cup Finals they were the largest local viewership from a neutral market
• In 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 they were the 3rd largest local viewership of any U.S. city for the complete postseason
• Game 1 tickets this year were $464 USD on average, the most of any team in the NHL
• they're projected as the largest U.S. market for the 2026 regular season
They're the most passionate American hockey city, hands down.
“The people here just love cheering and booing and chugging beers, and we love them for it.”

'This is a hockey town' | A letter from Mattias Samuelsson https://t.co/z8Iq6TpSff
I wonder if the NHL is aware that the playoffs start in just more than 48 hours. Very unfair to people who are traveling from out of town to see games, or for people who are trying to organize their lives around when puck drop is. Not fair to the teams either, for that matter.
