2) specialty high school admissions tests are again racially biased, and Should be abolished. 3) academically screened schools further perpetuate the severe inequalities that exist in NYC schools.

I firmly believe that 1) gifted and talented classes are often racially imbalanced and do not provide actual gifted education, and students of all levels learn best among their peers of all academic performances (and neurodivergence).
