Finally got to go back to my classroom after spring break! Students did need to be reminded of their expectations in the classroom but everything went well. I got to read the students another story which went well.
This week I got to see how accessing kindergartners goes and I actually got to help out with accessing some students on how well they know their numbers and shapes which went very well.
one student didn’t remember who the character was and I had reminded them who it was instead I should have asked the whole class who the character was.
I had my first observation today I read a leprechaun story as St.Patrick’s is this weekend. The students loved the book. One thing my advisor told me to work on is giving the students questions to answer their own questions as when I asked the students something about a character
@MsGuzman040 Aww sounds like they had a lot of fun listening to you!! I got to read a leprechaun story for my students today as well and they loved it.
@ms_emily_eled Yay I’m happy it went well for you!! I find I do the same thing were I pick on a student before other students get a chance to raise their hand.
This week I got to help the students painting hot air balloons for Dr. Seuss week which was very fun and very messy. I also set up my first observation for March 14th very nervous for it to happen.
First day with my students they were all well behaved I got to play guess who with a couple of groups which let me get to know the students better.#EDU310
