I am preparing for my 2nd observation and that will happen on the 22nd. I’m excited yet nervous about it. I talked a little bit with my mentor teacher about it. Not sure what so am gonna reach yet but since it is earth day that day might incorporate something with that. #EDU310

My class is still on Spring break. I like to have more time for my EDU classes but I miss the 5th graders more than I thought I would. I have my next observation 2 weeks after they come back from break. Can not wait to start planning for it. #EDU310

I could not go to my clinicals last week because they had forward testing. I hope they did well! They now have spring break this week. I did not realize how much I would miss the students. Can’t wait to come back from break and see how they have been doing #EDU310

I just did my first observation today. I think I did great, the students were so good and so nice! They kept on complementing me saying I was doing so good and was so awesome at teaching. I taught them about credible sources and how to find them. #EDU310

@MsJohnson0303 @TeacherFitz28 I love that for you. That you got to go on the field trip with the students to the museum. I bet it was weird being the one to lead the group.

This week was very interesting and fun. I got to go to my first assembly and that was fun. My first observation is on Monday. I’ll be teaching the students how to identify and find reliable sources for the biography paper they will be writing. I’m nervous. #EDU310

@ms_emily_eled I love that for you Emily! I like how the students have reading buddies from an older grade to help them with it. I also liked how you were able to sit in their music class and see what they are doing.

I went to my placement last week and it was nice to get to see how the class goes. I was just getting used to the classes routine and getting to know the students. The students are great. They are working on opinion essays right now and I helped some of them with it.#EDU310

I have not started my hours yet. I did meet my mentor teacher, she is super nice and I like how organized she is for her class. I briefly met the students they seemed nervous but once I get to know them their personality’s will start to show more around me. #EDU310

@MsDeates2002 Josie, I am so happy that you are enjoying your placement so far. I love how you are already really enjoying being with your kindergarteners. I know that you will do great with your observations. Hope you keep enjoying having kindergarten!!!

I am a little nervous for my placement this semester. I am in the same school as last time so I know the school. I do have a big change with 5th graders than 1st graders. It will be a challenge but I think I will really like it. Can’t wait to meet the students & teacher #EDU310
