Me and my class talked about the crusades today where they watched a John Green crash course video which took me back. But it was fun to watch and the kids seemed really interested in it!

Just finished up with my first observation! It was well, I was a little nervous at the start but once I started talking, I was able to get into it with the students and feel comfortable!!! Can't wait to do my second one! #EDU310

Just got done hanging out with my students and talking with my teacher about my first observation, I have what I want to do for it, and I'm excited but nervous to get working on it. I've done the first page with my teacher, and I'm looking to do more in the future #EDU310

Went to my placement on Monday where I helped kids write pen pal letters! This was fun because I was able to give directions to the kids and even sign a hall pass so a child could go to the office, I was really bad at it, but I think she got to where she was going. :) #EDU310

Went to my placement today and interacted with some of the high-school kids, they were more chill since I last some them but it was interesting learning about African American history in the US and I'm excited to spend time with more of these kids in the near future!!! #edu310

Just met with my mentor teacher today and really got the lay of the land with the high school I was at, seemed like a good school with a lot of promise for students. Can't wait to start observing their more! #EDU310
