I love this! In #EDU320 we discuss that teachers need to promote the growth mindset in the classroom, especially when it comes to teaching math where students think they “aren’t math students”. John Urschel mentions that math is everywhere and making mistakes is how we learn !

This is great! Teachers are still able to meet with their students virtually to correct their misunderstandings. In #EDU320 we discussed how it is important that every student is met with during guided math! This seems like a great alternative to use during online learning!

A fun/an easy way to inspire science inquiry! Bresser and Fargason state it is important for teachers to have the materials to make experiments possible and encourage thinking. This is an easy, at home experiment that can generate student thinking about science! #edu320

This is such a good idea! I know when I was a student and when I work with students they tend to struggle with what the number represents in minutes on the clock. This allows the students to fold the number up and see what the number represents in minutes. #EDU320

The Common Core State Standards for Math need to be unpacked by teachers to create goals that the students will meet. The Common Core is just standards it does not involve additional testing. #EDU320
