FFS, just extend the scope of practice for suitability trained DCP's, allow them to have more direct access including CDT's & dental Labs - seriously, it's not that hard to contemplate? The whole team could really help to provide dental services to the public - why not use them?
@englandsteeth It’s not clear,a hygienist cannot do what a therapist or a technician can do. It’s good to know all of the dental professionals scopes of practice. It might surprise you. For example, a therapist does fillings and can take out children’s teeth.

Tooth brushing for children is a good place to start - but it’s not a new idea. Prevention will enhance health, money, reduce anxiety and we have to start somewhere. #oralhealthanbition.
