The repeated harassment of journalist @Rattan1990 and his family by Punjab Police is deeply condemnable and a direct attack on press freedom in Punjab.

If there is any case against him, the government must act transparently and within the framework of law instead of using intimidation tactics against his family.

I stand firmly with every independent journalist and voice that refuses to bow before government pressure. Democracy cannot survive if journalists are silenced through fear, false cases, and misuse of police machinery.

The @BhagwantMann government must immediately stop targeting journalists and activists for questioning those in power.

👉 Punjab is not even getting “disturbed” by bomb blasts at police stations. Rather, it does not even appear to be a threat for the AAP government.

👉 But according to this complaint, discussion or reporting about AAP MLAs can allegedly create “unrest among masses”? HOW?

👉 Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Police appears more focused on silencing dissenting journalists than tackling real law and order challenges.

👉 This dangerous pattern increasingly resembles a 'HITLER-ERA' mindset where any voice questioning the ruling establishment can be targeted with anything under the sun.

👉 Quite a narcissistic mindset if AAP leadership believes scrutiny of its internal politics can destabilise Punjab.

They recently filed a false non-bailable FIR against me & several other independent journalists just for questioning the misuse of the state helicopter & public money on advts.

Now they are harassing Rattan’s family to silence him. @ArvindKejriwal accuse others of gagging the PRESS while doing the same in Punjab. They have already controlled 90% of the Punjab media by carrot or stick.

Only a few independent journalists & activists are left and this is what they are doing to them...
