🏳️‍⚧️ Rainbow Afghanistan Organization strongly condemns the armed attack against two transgender women in Peshawar, Pakistan.

According to available information, unidentified armed individuals opened fire on two transgender women, leaving both of them severely injured. One of the victims of this attack was an Afghan transgender woman, and the medical condition of both victims has been reported to be extremely critical.

This attack once again demonstrates that Afghan LGBTQI+ refugees and migrants in Pakistan continue to face serious risks of violence, targeted attacks, threats, killings, forced deportation, and insecurity.

We call for:
▪️ Immediate protection for Afghan LGBTQI+ refugees
▪️ An end to forced deportations
▪️ A transparent and independent investigation into this attack
▪️ Expanded safe pathways for resettlement and emergency protection

Silence and indifference in the face of this crisis will place even more human lives at risk.

توازن: گروهی از پناهجویان افغان در پاکستان که می‌گویند به دلیل نوع گرایش و هویت شخصی‌شان (ترنس‌جندر) از افغانستان فرار کرده‌��ند، از جامعه‌ی جهانی خواسته‌اند برای حفاظت از آنان اقدام فوری انجام دهد.
این گروه با نشر نامه‌ای سرگشاده گفته‌اند که حدود ۳۰۰ پناهجوی افغان (ترنس‌جندر) در پاکستان با خطر اخراج اجباری، ناامنی، مشکلات اقتصادی و دسترسی محدود به حمایت‌های قانونی روبه‌رو هستند.
در این نامه آمده است که بیش از ۶۰ پناهجو آن را امضا کرده‌اند.
نویسندگان می‌گویند بسیاری از آنان پس از تهدید و آزار در افغانستان به پاکستان پناه برده‌اند، اما هنوز از امنیت و حمایت کافی برخوردار نیستند.
آنان از دولت‌ها، سازمان ملل متحد و نهادهای مدافع حقوق بشر خواسته‌اند برای جلوگیری از اخراج اجبار��، اسکان دوباره و حمایت از این گروه اقدام عملی انجام دهند.
