WhatsApp backup alone needs 2.05× its size in free space. So even without videos, a 2.5GB backup needs 5.13GB — more than the free tier!

WhatsApp backup fails constantly. Many users (like my cousin) are dropping Apple for Android where Google gives 15GB free + native WhatsApp backup.

The 5GB tier is pushing loyal users away.

Both show “5G” on the phone.

But:
@reliancejio → Truly unlimited 5G, no daily data deduction, consistently high speeds
@airtelindia → Shows 5G, but data still gets deducted from daily quota
