Permanent Representative of Israel to the UN in Geneva. Former DDG for Europe @IsraelMFA and Ambassador to Czechia 🌾
תָּפַסְתָּ מְרֻבֶּה, לֹא תָּפַסְתָּ
On this day 23/8 in 1968, I arrived as a young boy in Israel. My parents decided we leave our friends, family and a very comfortable life in Australia, to live in the Jewish homelnd, in Israel. I am forever grateful.
Shocking and undiplomatic behaviour of particants at the International Labour Conference, led by the Turkish delegation, who interupted the Israeli representative, trying to prevent him from speaking. Unacceptable!
An Israeli official was unable to complete his address at a United Nations international conference due to loud protests and disruptions from attendees, Anadolu reports.
Israeli diplomat Waleed Gadban took the floor during the General Assembly of the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) 114th International Labour Conference. However, his remarks were cut short by widespread backlash from the audience.
Numerous government ministers, alongside trade union, worker, and employer representatives in the hall, began banging heavily on their tables to drown out Gadban's speech.
Among those participating in the protest were Türkiye’s Labour and Social Security Minister Vedat Isikhan, the official Turkish delegation, and trade union representatives from Türkiye.
Conference security officers intervened during the demonstration to instruct some officials to lower Palestinian flags that had been unfurled in the hall.
Despite warnings from Juan Castillo, the President of the 114th International Labour Conference, the protests continued, and the floor was given to the next speaker before the Israeli official could finish his speech.
Some officials in the hall were seen wearing scarves with "Free Palestine" written on them.
Israel is proud to be part of the U.S. led Pax Silica initiative, bringing together leading nations to strengthen secure and resilient AI and technology supply chains.
As AI reshapes our economies and societies, cooperation among trusted partners will be essential to fostering innovation, security, and shared prosperity.
BRAVO: In a remarkable political shift, Honduras voted against all three anti-Israel resolutions at the @WHO's 2026 World Health Assembly. A complete reversal from their position last year. More: https://t.co/xEQ6SzhXqR
The Prime Minister of Fiji @slrabuka is a dear friend of Israel and the Jewish people, and a visionary leader.
Honored to meet the PM during my visit to open Israel’s embassy in Fiji today, just 9 months after he opened Fiji’s embassy in Jerusalem.
Our mutual decision to elevate relations reflects a commitment to strengthen our friendship for future generations.

A new explosive report by @MedIntegrity shows how @WHO singles out Israeli actions while downplaying abuses by Hamas and other armed groups.

Ambassador Daniel Meron at #WHA79: "We expect the highest standard from @WHO. It must adhere to professionalism and scientific integrity and prevent political distractions from undermining WHO’s important work."
UN in the Service of Hamas?
Read this new and deeply troubling report, which raises serious concerns about the accuracy, impartiality, and verification of information disseminated by the UN following the October 7 massacre and the war that ensued:

New explosive report by @UNWatch exposes systematic corruption at UN Human Rights Council.
From the crown jewel of the UN Human rights system, to a vehicle of ideological advocacy, selective targeting and the laundering of unverified allegations through the authority of the UN.

Today, history was made in Jerusalem. 🇮🇱
Dr. Mohamed Hagi, the first Ambassador of the Republic of Somaliland to Israel, officially arrived and presented his credentials to President Isaac Herzog
At the opening of the World Health Assembly in Geneva I will state Israel's committement to advancing medical innovation and to contribute its expertise to improving lives around the world. At the same time, I will speak against any attempts to single out of Israel at the WHA
The State Department just released its report to Congress covering June 2025 – May 2026, assessing the Palestinian Authority's conduct on violence and peacemaking. Here's what it found:
🔸️ Abbas took 18 months to first criticize the Oct. 7 attacks, finally doing so in a June 2025 letter to the U.S. President. The State Dept. later revoked his visa over the PA's failure to honor peace commitments
🔸️ PA and Fatah officials continued framing Oct. 7 as legitimate "armed struggle"
🔸️ Despite Abbas's February 2025 announcement ending "pay for slay," the payments never stopped. Israel documented ~$160M paid to terrorists and their families in 2025 alone — and the PA's own Finance Minister publicly admitted it in February 2026
🔸️ School curriculum continued to deny Israel's right to exist, promote antisemitism, and glorify terrorism
🔸️ The PA pushed countries to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state and actively supported ICC/ICJ lawfare against Israel
Denialism of conflict-related sexual and gender-based violence must be confronted.
To date, Geneva’s human rights bodies have largely ignored, much less condemned, the heinous acts of SGBV perpetrated by Hamas against Israelis. This must end.
Today, the Civil Commission has released a comprehensive report compiling evidence pointing to systematic use of SGBV by Hamas against Israelis on October 7, and in Hamas captivity.
