Florence
Oil on canvas (31×41cm)
I painted Florence in oil.
Cityscape of Florence, the capital of art .
It was a very attractive city with old buildings with uniform colors .
I have such wonderful memories of going to Florence and painting😊

My latest finished commission, a collection of Australian treats (yes they have Dairy Milk in Oz!)
110x80cm oil on canvas. One of the most technically challenging paintings I’ve ever done, which has made it one of the most rewarding. And yes I’ve eaten everything!
Hi everyone 👋
I can finally share another picture with you all..
Here we have Maisie the Irish setter for 😍
It was such a lovely photo that the whole thing had to be captured for this portrait 😊
Hope you like 😊

One of a series of #nightskies I've made with monotype techniques. Any keen star gazers out there? Some parts of #Northumberland have been designated #darkskies areas. I hope to go to the observatory at Kielder sometime. My stars are somewhat randomised with scattered chalk dust
For this drawing I used 3 coloured pencils, and set myself a time of 90 minutes.
Cerulean blue. Raw umber. White. Plus white acrylic pen.
On black paper.
I came through in 86 minutes.
Don’t forget, less is often more. Use the negative space, and let the viewer fill in the gaps.
