@HalifaxBank If this is the case why isn’t this known in the branch? I did state this was standard practise at other banks and was refused by 2 different members of staff stating it was the banks policy to refuse the cheque and I only have the one branch local to me.

@HalifaxBank why do you not accept cheques in maiden names even with marriage certificate as proof? Yet both @NatWest_Help and @RBS_Help are able to? Very frustrating and poor customer service for loyal customers! #withthewrongbankclearly

@HalifaxBank It was a UK cheque in pounds, just wondering why you don’t offer the same service as other banks to accept the cheques? It seems quite unfair, especially when it will now cost an administrative fee to arrange a new cheque.

@HalifaxBank They advised yes at a cost of £20, which is unfair because Halifax wouldn’t accept it! However they wanted a bank certified copy of my marriage certificate so I now need to wait to see if they will accept the photocopy included as Halifax would not certify it for me.

@HalifaxBank So now I am likely stuck with a cheque I cannot bank unless I am willing to send off my original and only marriage certificate to the company who provided the cheque.

@HalifaxBank I did and was advised that as per policy you would no longer be able to accept the cheque even with the marriage certificate. They would also not assist on certifying a copy of the original certificate as requested by the company who provided the cheque.

@clarksshoes why is it so difficult to actually size up feet using your gauge?! Everytime I use the gauge and input my toddlers foot size the measurements are ALWAYS out of range?! What a waste of money the gauge was! Why can’t you at least have a pdf with approximate sizes on?!
