Worst ICLR ever. What a circus. 🤡
1. Where was the CoI policy announced in advance? If you doubt our CoIs, ignore them—don't reject our papers.
2. Why desk-reject NOW?
3. Why not earlier? Spare reviewers/ACs.@ylecun@iclr_conf@risteski_a@jacobandreas@elonmusk@cvondrick
Overall, the organization of ICLR this year has been a complete mess. Program Chairs arbitrarily issuing desk rejections, undisclosed conference organizers, and opaque desk rejection policies. Let us remember the disgraceful Program Chairs of this year's ICLR.
7. Why are you using scope as a justification for desk rejection?
8. Are you using desk rejections to manipulate the acceptance rate?
Having you serve as Program Chairs for ICLR this year was a complete mistake. @katjahofmann@yanliu_usc@kchonyc@chelseabfinn@_beenkim
4. Why haven't papers containing hallucinated citations and those related to AutoResearch been desk-rejected yet?
5. Do you have a target number of desk rejections to meet?
6. Why are the SPCs and General Chair still unknown at this stage?
@RuishuoChen Is there any official basis for claiming that we violated a policy? The COI issue does not appear to have been explicitly communicated before the submission deadline.@ylecun@iclr_conf@risteski_a@jacobandreas
