@SquarespaceHelp
I have linked my Google Sites website to my Squarespace domain 4 days ago, but it's still not propogated - can this be looked into? Thanks
Exciting times @MarbrookRehab as we are expanding our rehabilitation team. We are currently recruiting for Physio, Speech Therapist and Therapy Assistant roles. See below for more details.
We have achieved Gold Standard Accreditation for our End of Life care. Our GSF aim is to ensure people live well before they die and die well in the place and manner of their choosing. Accepting the accreditation for Team Marbrook are Lisa Riches & Lizzie Bracey @GSFCentre

@slt_afshan @Rach_coates Surely we do ourselves an injustice using this term?! Neuro is our 'bread and butter' - there is ALWAYS something we can support families and individuals with post-stroke!
Why are we still seeing the phrase 'no rehabilitation potential' in Stroke services discharge reports?
It's there in black and white - SLTs, if you don't feel the individual is able to engage in impairment based therapies, offer something else...CPT, education, suppport, AAC...
@brin1958@DrEiriniKontou Absolutely!! There is no magic 'recovery' within 6 months. I still have people tell me that their stroke consultant told them there will be 'no improvements after 6 months' ๐ฅฑ๐ฅฑ it is infuriating!!!
@KazzieP St John's Ambulance do Moving and Handling courses, though these are obviously paid.
You may be able to access a grant via your local council to pay for training, if it is not something offered by your local authority or NHS services ๐
@JonnieMcC Awesome stuff Jonnie!
ABI 'rehab' is life long, and should not be limited to 4/6 restricted and narrow-minded therapy sessions based on super basic daily activities - there is much more to life than going to the loo, dressing and making a cup of tea! #RightToRehab
