FIBROIDS ARE NOT A WITCHCRAFT PROBLEM
For years, women have been deceived.
Once fibroids show up, the whispers start:
“It’s spiritual.”
“Someone is after you.”
“Go for deliverance.”
But here’s the truth,
Fibroids are not arrows from the village.
They are a health condition linked to hormones, lifestyle, and genetics.
Fibroids are growths that develop in or around the womb.
They can be as tiny as a seed…
Or swell into the size of a watermelon—pressing on the bladder, stretching the belly, and draining energy.
And yes, fibroids can cause:
– Heavy bleeding that makes you live on pads.
– Painful periods that feel like labour.
– Frequent urination that keeps you in and out of the toilet.
– Infertility and repeated miscarriages.
– A belly that looks like pregnancy even when you’re not pregnant.
Now let’s break it down.
Fibroids are fueled by hormonal imbalance, especially when estrogen levels are higher than progesterone.
Think of estrogen as “fertilizer.” The more it builds up, the more those fibroid cells grow.
So what causes this imbalance?
– Too much sugar and refined carbs. All the soda, puff-puff, bread, small chops, pastries and biscuits.
They drive up insulin, which in turn drives up estrogen.
– Too much processed food and seed oils. Margarine on bread. Noodles with “seasoning sachets.” Packaged snacks. They inflame the body and confuse hormones.
– Excess alcohol and smoking. Your liver is meant to clear out extra hormones. But when it’s busy processing alcohol and toxins, estrogen piles up.
– Excess weight. Fat cells themselves produce estrogen, so the more fat tissue you carry, the more “fuel” fibroids get.
– Chronic stress. Cortisol, your stress hormone, throws off the delicate balance your body needs.
This is why fibroids are so common among African women.
Not because witches are sitting under a tree plotting.
But because of a mix of genetics, diet, stress, and modern lifestyle.
And here’s the part most women never hear in hospital.
Surgery removes fibroids.
But it does not fix the root cause.
That’s why fibroids often grow back, sometimes bigger, sometimes faster.
Cutting them out is like plucking weeds without pulling the roots.
So what’s the way forward?
– Balance your meals. More vegetables, beans, fruits, and whole grains. Sugary snacks should be eliminated from your diet.
– Switch your oils. Use real fats like palm oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, olive oil. Not cheap seed oils.
– Support your liver. Drink water. Eat healthy foods that help detox. Stop abusing alcohol, painkillers, and herbal mixtures.
– Manage weight. Every kilo you drop is less estrogen feeding fibroids.
– Sleep and rest. Stress makes hormones worse. Rest resets the body.
– Move your body. Exercise helps keep insulin and estrogen in check.
Fibroids are not spiritual arrows.
They are your body’s way of crying out:
“Your hormones are out of balance.”
Prayer is good.
But prayer without lifestyle change is like fasting all day then breaking it with soda and meat pie.
It cancels itself out.
If you want freedom, start with your diet.
Start with your lifestyle.
Start with your daily choices.
Your body will thank you.
Your womb will thank you.
Your future self will thank you.
Don't forget to reach out for a diet plan. Share and tag your friends.
