Hagen Smith will start Game 1 for the White Sox against Cleveland tomorrow.

@MarshaIIZach Same with Gimenez

[Rob Wong @RobWong34]

The Correa saga makes me wonder how often during an offseason do teams turn a blind eye to a guy's sketchy medicals in order to get a deal done.

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@Varsh0_ Or who gets traded

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@_bkuh_ @benturn22 @Petes_Updates This is the thing, no matter what we want or what the FO wants this applies. Take the best deal.

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@_bkuh_ @benturn22 @Petes_Updates I don't mean to say that they should completely focus on pitching, but instead if they trade for pitching there are more avenues to improve the offenece in FA such as nimmo

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@benturn22 @_bkuh_ @Petes_Updates My point is would it not be more ideal to improve your biggest weakness vs improving your already top 5ish strength?

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@benturn22 @_bkuh_ @Petes_Updates I may be in the minority here (I much prefer trading for a starter and signing on OF) but signing lesser arms seems like a repeat of last year waiting to happen ie Manoah, gausman and maybe berrios are good but 4 and 5 are black holes

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@benturn22 @_bkuh_ @Petes_Updates I meant in the specific scenario of trading for nootbar how is the rotation addressed when it so far seems rather unlikely that they sign a Verlander or rodon

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@_bkuh_ @Petes_Updates @benturn22 What about the rotation?

@jonbecker_ Trade predictions? 👀

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@JaysKid_RHP

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@JoshuaHowsam If they land an ace like burnes, woodruff or Verlander change this?

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@JoshuaHowsam @dcarman724 @AdrianCrisostim @JGoldberg12 Burnes and suarez would be very nice

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@JoshuaHowsam @clarke_gideon Doesn't pop have options? That could be where a second spot opens up

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@_ClintB_ Ohtani, nimmo and a 5th starter 🙏

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@BVHJays @_ClintB_ @_bkuh_ @ThomasHall85 Cant trade him for reynolds when he's going to the angles for ohtani

[Aiden Elash @AmeAiden]

@clarke_gideon Ohtani and Nimmo offseason incoming
