@MrTomRad It is. I was just telling my wife that when I was in high school I tried to be on the yearbook team but you had to be in AP classes. Those classes were all white. I was told they were full.
@hitRECordJoe I’m up late writing episodes from the East Coast about racism in American and hopefully providing education will help lessen the injustice
@HeatherBarmore How you feeling now? Victory for George and hopefully this will change the world. So our black men can grow old and not in the streets.
The jury’s decision — convicting Chauvin of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter after deliberating for about 10 hours — capped the most prominent policing trial in decades. https://t.co/HZpYnxSWBr
Today, a jury did the right thing. But true justice requires much more. Michelle and I send our prayers to the Floyd family, and we stand with all those who are committed to guaranteeing every American the full measure of justice that George and so many others have been denied.
I am deeply saddened by the death of Jaslyn Adams. We can get to the root of gun violence in communities and create more humane, safe spaces. I believe that. https://t.co/zOWrP1GPoI
