- They were trespassing and disturbing paying guests

Manager James Brock responded by pouring muriatic acid into the swimming pool water, a completely harmless act.

It wasn’t ‘aCiD!’ in the scary sense.

It’s a pool chemical to adjust PH, which the pool probably required at that point because of all of the sweaty, disgusting, trespassers.

The trespassers received zero injuries.

All 37 activists were arrested.

The hotel manager was never charged.
