@RockLeeSmile I think its more a result of private equity trading games as a commodity rather than the artistic medium it is. We see this in movies too where everyone is so risk averse they'd rather make what they think everyone wants and will maximize profits. Indie development make art now.

@IndieGameJoe Gamers are the only market that LIKE to be marketed to. We love trailers, gameplay, screenshots. But big money has been deciding winners and losers through marketing. I think people are upset how many games get overlooked and since we're in the space, they see it as on us. Imo
