@greggutfeld I’m shocked by this brutality and senselessness. I also just don’t understand why this isn’t a national news story. In my case it was buried in my X feed as well. Why isn’t this being more widely covered?
@GilesLMcKenzie@OGazzaUK@Hertz I sincerely wish you the best on your trip. Anyone who would roadtrip 40 hours with no access to $870 in contingency funds proves your logic and decision making could use all the wishes possible.
@OGazzaUK@GilesLMcKenzie@Hertz Being realistic if one does not have a credit card to hold 870 for several days while a 670 refund is issued, they are not mature enough to be in charge of an entire family vacation. I find his claims skeptical and don’t take it at face value.
@shadowber770@GilesLMcKenzie@Hertz I’m disheartened by your unnecessary language in speaking to another person. But if you seek out his post in full, he clearly states hertz agreed to refund the cancelation fee. And again I ask why would they do that if this was their error?
@TXStickMan@GilesLMcKenzie@Hertz Because he purports to be a person of faith and starts his post with profanity. He now claims hertz charged him a cancelation fee. For their error? Is his post honest frustration on poor customer service or more to it? I wish it was “the customer is right”, but when it’s honest
@FinsAndOs@Saluki_Dawg@RightCuban@DeedsLivengood@GilesLMcKenzie@Hertz I’m really not sure if you’re serious? It’s not companies that are slow to refund it’s banks. And further this is refunds around a credit card not cash, he does not need $870 on hand to reserve a second vehicle while the $670 is refunded days later.
@SnowcatTish@GilesLMcKenzie@Hertz You are correct on the aggregation of it. However, I’m skeptical a location so close to DFW would not have some type of resolution. We don’t know those facts. And further, he now claims hertz charged a cancelation fee. For their error? Again I’m not taking his post at face value.
@SnowcatTish@GoodDogOtto@GilesLMcKenzie@Hertz I agree with you, I am making a judgement that because he is dramatic enough to cancel a trip over $200, he is asserting it is unaffordable. This dramatic behavior though is what makes me skeptical of his claims. I’d like more information before taking his post at face value.
@GilesLMcKenzie@Hertz@GilesLMcKenzie you’re now asserting that hertz charged you a cancellation fee for their error. Can you please confirm that your OP was made in good faith around poor customer service. Or should you reflect on its truthfulness and the profane language in putting @hertz on blast?
