Perhaps not every contact is seeing these messages due to ‘Settings > Account > Security > Show Sec Notifs’ not being enabled? I’d imagine people concerned on Twitter have that setting and 2FA/PIN codes enabled, so are we safe? Thanks

@HenkPoley @WhatsApp I’ve had the same message, but I’ve asked a few contacts and they haven’t had a message about my security code changing at their end. If this were a true change, wouldn’t contacts see the message too? 🤔

@adamschoales FYI I haven’t tried to update to Big Sur. I think Gatekeeper servers are down causing widespread stability issues.. hopefully it’s related and you don’t have to clean install 🤞 Good luck

@panic @fotohorst Had auth issues when up/downloading multiple files via FTP on 2.7, even after deleting a site, removing from keychain, and entering the user/pass again. Rolling back solved my problems. Although 2.6.10 thinks it’s the latest version for some reason.

@panic having the same disappearing password issue as others after upgrading. Using Sync. macOS 10.14.3. Tried reboot. Keys appear to still be in keychain. Mostly SFTP passwords missing.
