V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tuticorin, today hosted an insightful session on the recently implemented Labour Codes.

Conducted by Dr. Srinu Dara, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (C); Shri Pravin Pandi Mohandas, RLC (C), Madurai; Shri Sunil Keerthi, LEO (C), Tuticorin; and Shri S.V. Arun, LEO, Madurai, the session saw active participation from HoDs, employees, representatives of Unions operating in the Port, Contractors, and terminal operators of VOC Port.

VOC Port Chairperson Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE; Deputy Chairperson Shri Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS; and Secretary Shri S.P. Mohan Kumar expressed their gratitude to the officials for sharing valuable insights on key provisions and compliance requirements under the Labour Codes.
