If you think this is ok, something is wrong with you. Explain an unelected, unvetted, unconfirmed, individual who hasn’t been subjected to the same security clearances or higher as these civil servants has the authority to do this?!
This feels as if we are being attacked from within, FULL FUCKING STOP!
In a minute, I think they are going to continuously ignore court orders that are granted against them. You see what happens, America, when you put a conman convicted felon into the White House… HE DOES NOT ABIDE BY THE LAW.
It feels like y’all literally told the robber to come on in and rob us blind. 😡
Courage is not where you stand in times of comfort, but where you stand in times of discomfort… I’m ready to see some Republicans find their spines! We have to do what’s right, TOGETHER!
I spent the last Trump admin working tirelessly to be The Most Informed Person in the Room, and honestly, I don’t have it in me to do round two
Knowing things did nothing
I didn’t convince anyone of anything, he got eviler & stupider, and somehow even more people wanted that
When shocking things are said or announced at the onset of Trump 2.0, we would do well not to react reflexively by immediately feeling the shock. We would do better to pause and realize that these things were said or announced specifically to shock us. Just that small pause might help our psyches.
This small tip is one of many that I would brand under: 'decreasing our anxiety through increasing our self-awareness.' When we react viscerally to the shock-peddling, we lose a little clarity on who and what they are. Yes, they're racists, grifters, sociopaths, etc. But they're also propagandists - first and foremost.
Right here, and it's not a debate. You're asking a question you should already know the answer to.
You're asking why MAGA has to conceal their politics when in public, at work, at gatherings, while liberals don't.
Simple. We don't need to hide & disassociate from our ideology.

thinking about 2025 in the year 2000: I hope we have flying cars and take vacations to mars
thinking about 2025 now: I hope we have electricity and the children survive the polio
The problem with "I don't follow politics" is that politics follows you. Your healthcare costs, work conditions, and kid's education are all political decisions you're choosing not to understand.
Republicans seem a lot more concerned to protect women on the Hill from the imaginary problem of being in a stall next to Rep. Sarah McBride, than to acknowledge and protect women from the very real depredations of men like Matt Gaetz, Pete Hegseth, and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Would love to hear from a Republican worried about food or housing costs how exactly deporting 10 million people who grow and pick our food and build our houses is going to lower food or housing costs.
There was literally NO reason rooted in facts/reality to vote for Donald Trump, unless you actually WANTED America destroyed so that he could avoid prison for crimes he committed in plain sight. If that’s not what you wanted, you got played for a fool by a lifelong conman. Again.
“Trump’s economic advisers and congressional Republicans have begun preliminary discussions about making significant changes to Medicaid, food stamps and other federal safety net programs to offset the enormous cost of extending Trump’s 2017 tax cuts next year.”
Medicaid and food stamps are now on the chopping block to fund tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires.

A short thread on what refusal to comply can look like, with specifics, examples, and ideas for what the future may hold.
Actually IDK if it's gonna be short, but it's gonna be specific, so read on if you're curious.
Y’all thought trump was playing when he said he’d do bad things. Y’all thought Harris was lying when she said she’d do good things.
Funny thing is they both were telling the truth.
Y’all simply choose to believe the best about a white man and the worst about a black woman.
